With Jamie at a conference out East, I declared this a Russian-only week for me and Masha (although clearly Jamie is not the problem here):
Me (in Russian): “Masha, starting right now, we’ll only speak Russian. You need to practice more”
Masha (in mostly English): “Not again! I already speak Russian: мороженое, кофточка, солнышко. You make my life hard. ”
Teenage years will be great, I’m sure.
